The "Format Add/Edit" form is used to define the parameters of a conversion format. The form has five tabs "Output format", "New Image Size", "Rotate", "Output Directory" and "Review and Close". These are the steps that you will follow while adding/editing a format.

Before the "Format Add/Edit" form, by default, a quick selection dialogue like in the picture below is presented:

This dialogue sets the parameters in the five tabs of the "Format Add/Edit" form according to your choice. Just click on the corresponding format and this dialogue will close and switch to "Format Add/Edit" form with values pre-filled in. Beware that the output folder is set by default to My Documents / My Pictures / azimage. You may want to change it to a more suitable location.
