The update form connects to the AZImage website and looks for new program versions. If a new version is available, you are presented the choice of downloading and installing it.
There are four types of updates:
- Major AZImage update. A completly new version of AZImage is out!
- Minor AZImage update. Bugfixes and improvments to AZImage, but no radical change in the user interface or functionality.
- Plugin update. Load/Save routines for the supported file formats have been improved. Or some new file formats are supported.
- Documentation and/or minor bugfixes update. Documentation update or minor bugfixes, that are not visible to the end user.
